Well the wind didn't show up but there are worse places to be stuck for a weekend.One of our fellow teachers described the beach at Las Terrenas to me by simply saying:
"Have you seen the movie Contact with Jodie Foster? You know the scene where she is in space and on that beach? They could have shot that scene here!"
It truly is a place like no other. Highlights of the weekend included some incredible meals at two of our all-time favorite restaurants. Spending time with Kristy, listening to the rain (just for a very short time), laughing with Ollie, great body surfing, me and the OPP averaging 4+ swims (and 2+ naps) a da, one of the funniest games of disc golf i have played in a long time, Ollie reassuring mom on his first Cessna flight, the filming of some Peruvian beer comercial - with spray on condensation and ice to kick of a funny night out dancing, concluded by a 4wd solo ride home.
I really wish i could go to Las Terrenas every weekend, but feel fortunate i get there as often as i do.

That big guy better be careful i think the OPP is after his job.
Just having Aba with us is so special but when she brings me a chair of my very own it is even better.
